	Due to the highly pressurized Ethylene Oxide gas used in this sterilizer, this door latch design had to be 100% pressure proof! This was achieved using multiple horizontal steel bars that interlocked with corresponding steel tine side plates. The door was opened by first moving it upward to disengage the bar/tine interlock and then swung outward.
	A full set of Stainless Steel front panels for the sterilizer body and door was also designed as part of this project.

DENTAL CHAIR COMPONENTS DESIGNED FOR THE RITTER COMPANY

Conceptualized and designed the dentist interface components of new dental office system that included creating a novel dental-handpiece swivel concept that reduced the part count from more than 30  parts to 4 parts. This design was immediately copied by company’s primary offshore competitor.

	This design concept automatically decreased the angle-of-attack for each blade in relation to increased angular velocity in proportion to the centrifugal force on each rotating blade working against a countering spring force.

I worked with Siong Fei Ge of Tiantia Zhenxing Wire Mesh Factory to correct wrinkles in the coffee filter insert-molded wire mesh. I determined that the mesh needed to be preheated to  compensate for  PC / Stainless Steel cooling shrinkage-rate differences.

Created, designed and manufactured the industry’s first phone specific cell phone cradle, the Flip Clip® cradle for Motorola’s first “pocket-sized” cell phone, the DPC-550 “Flip-Phone.” Successfully defended a trademark infringement dispute brought by Motorola Corp. Twice featured on the cover of The Wall Street Journal, AP and newspapers worldwide.
